How to Quickly Create a Video on Magisto

Earlier this week I published a post about three good video creation tools. Magisto was one of the tools that I included in that post. The other two tools were WeVideo and Wideo. Of the three Magisto is the only one for which I haven’t published a tutorial at some point. To remedy that situation I created the short video that is embedded below.See it on Scoop.it, via TIC & Educación

Creative Commons from a Student’s Perspective

It’s not like I don’t feel that authors deserve credit for their work or that I’m too lazy to cite something. It’s the fact that teachers request that information be cited in a certain way. Sadly however, the “way” …

In August I published a short tutorial on how to use it. This week Alan published a small update to the Flickr CC Attribution Helper. The update added a link to the CC license type along with the link to the image source.See it on Scoop.it, via TIC & Educación

5 of The Best Android Apps for Creating Visual Concept Maps

What the Heck is Scoop.it?

It’s a user-friendly content curation tool with a social component, creating a one-stop environment for learning, sharing and connecting. (…)There are many things about Scoop.it that I love. Its Pinterest-like boards provide the headline, image and the first few lines of copy, allowing for a quick scan of content. Scoop.it’s suggested content is always spot on (…) it’s easy (and the integration with other social networks is great)….

A Straightforward Guide To Creative Commons

Way back when, research meant going to the library, finding something in a book, and indicating what book you found the information in when you created your bibliography. The internet has brought a significant amount of grey area to the world of citations and bibliographies. Students need to understand how to distinguish relevant, reliable material from the wasteland of trash that otherwise litters the internet. How do you cite a tweet, or other social media post? Is that considered ‘…
